<p>PURPOSE:To provide a slide contact having stable contact without generation of a burr and abnormal abrasion by crashing each tip end of a plurality of wire rods or tape members, which is welded to a spring member and is formed at the tip end thereof into an inverted L shape, so as to form a gentle surface. CONSTITUTION:For example, 310 of wire rods each including 30% by weight of Ag, 35% by weight of Pd, 10% by weight of Au, 10% by weight of Pt, 14% by weight of Cu, and 1% by weight of Zn and having a diameter of 0.08mm are weldingly fixed at a wire pitch of 0.2mm to a table member 6 made of phosphor bronze and having a thickness of 0.2mm and a width of 3mm, followed by cutting each wire rod 3 in a length of 4mm. A tip end 4 is crashed into a tapered shape by a press die. and is bent at a right angle in a portion apart 0.5mm from the tip, thus obtaining an inverted L-shaped slide contact 7. A burr can be eliminated by crashing the cut portion of the tip end, and the material is expanded so that the contact surface is finished into an arcuate gentle surface. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a stable slide contact having low contact resistance without abnormal abrasion of an opposite substrate in sliding.</p> |
