POSITION CONTROL DEVICE FOR ON-VEHICLE EQUIPMENT AND MULTIPLEX WIRING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To enable an appropriate position control without interrupting other control operation by driving a driving means by communication and controlling motor current. CONSTITUTION:A motor-position detecting sensor detects the rotational position of a motor 121 and sends the detected result to a central control unit(CCU) 100 through a local control unit(LCU) 101. The CCU 100 computes a deviation between the rotational position information and an objective rotational position, and when the information is included with a prescribed range, executes operation for interrupting current flowing through the motor 121 for a prescribed period and transmits the computed result information to the LCU 101 through a multiplex communication line 200 and the LCU 101 controls the driving of the motor 121 in accordance with the information. Consequently the positional control of the motor 121 can be executed without generating harmful radio waves and the motor 121 can be controlled so as to be gradually and properly approached to the objective rotatational position.
