<p>PURPOSE:To suppress visibility reduction caused by the reflection of external light and to keep a contrast ratio high. CONSTITUTION:Concerning a liquid crystal display A1, a liquid crystal 4 is sandwiched by upper and lower glass substrates 2a and 2b equipped with electrodes, a polarizing plate 6b in the lower part is joined to the lower face of the downside glass substrate 2b, and a reflecting plate 8 is fitted to the lower face of the lower polarizing plate 6b. A polarizing plate 6A in the upper part is moved to the side of a transparent touch panel B1. The transparent touch panel B1 is composed of a glass substrate 10, transparent film 12 provided with an electrode joined onto the upper face of the glass substrate, and the upper polarizing plate 6A joined onto the upper face of the transparent film 12. Then, a non-glare processing 16 is executed on the surface of the upper polarizing plate 6A so as to prevent glare by scattering (L3) incident light L1.</p> |
