PURPOSE:To obtain a base band optical transmitter eliminating the high frequency disturbance signal of a base band optical signal received by a subcarrier optical signal receiver at a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 19 is added in parallel with a light source 17 in a circuit implementing modulation with a base band signal in an optical transmitter. The high frequency disturbance signal of the base band optical signal included in the subcarrier signal is eliminated at the transmission side by selecting properly the capacitance of the capacitor 19. |
