PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device capable of preventing curling of a blade and damage to the edge of the blade which are easily caused after the cleaning or replacement of a photosensitive body and a cleaning blade. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit provided on the image forming device drives a photosensitive motor, with the cleaning blade 6 released, to start the rotation of the photosensitive body 1 and drives a blade solenoid, when a toner layer formed on the photosensitive body 1 by an electrifying charger 2 and a developing device 4 reaches without being transferred the position where the cleaning blade 6 abuts on the photosensitive body 1, to make the cleaning blade 6 abut on a toner layer. |
