PURPOSE:To enhance reliability of a power supply circuit by connecting a control circuit with an oscillation circuit through a circuit for dividing the frequency of an output signal from the oscillation circuit thereby reducing current consumption. CONSTITUTION:When a cordless telephone or a portable telephone is in waiting mode a signal generated from an oscillation circuit 15 through connecting terminals 23 of oscillation circuit is subjected to frequency division through a frequency division circuit 16 thence delivered to a control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 controls power supply circuits 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d or delivers a signal to an output terminal 19 according to signals fed from external input terminals 18a, 18b, 18c, 18d. According to the constitution, a microcomputor 17 is not fed with current when the cordless telephone or portable telephone is in waiting mode but fed with current only upon receiving an external signal. |
