摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the orienting performance of the liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystal molecules are pretilted and twisted according to the orienting process of a 1st orienting film 22 and a 2nd orienting film 26, which have 1st and 2nd liquid crystal orientation sections A and B formed in respective fine unit areas; and the long axes of the liquid crystal molecules extend in parallel directions and are pretilted in opposite directions and parts 22p and 26p of the 1st orienting film 22 and 2nd orienting film 26 corresponding to the border parts of the 1st and 2nd liquid crystal orientation sections A and B are formed while projected or retreated in the thickness direction of the liquid crystal.
