PURPOSE:To provide a rare earth element bonded magnet in Which aging deteri oration of magnetic properties at the ambient temperature and aging deteriora tion of the properties at the ambient temperature or higher are reduced and heat resistance is improved. CONSTITUTION:A method for manufacturing a rare earth element bonded magnet comprises the step of coating the surface of a rare earth element magnetic material of a compression-molded form of a powderlike rare earth element magnetic material with high heat resistant addition-polymerization type thermosetting resin containing triazine resin as a main ingredient when binder is added to the powderlike rare earth element magnetic material and compression-molded to manufacture the magnet.
