PURPOSE:To attain quick incoming to an extension telephone set by retrieving a private pocket bell number corresponding to an extension number based upon a line wire number and automatically controlling connection between the line wire and the extension based upon the pocket bell. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal is sent to a control circuit 14 based upon termination from the line wire L2, the circuit 14 judges the storing number of the line wire L2 and the telephone number of a corresponding extension telephone set 32 is retrieved from data stored in a storage means 11. When a call transfer request is generated from the telephone set 32, its corresponding private pocket bell number is retrieved from a storage means 13 and sent to a calling circuit 18 and a calling device 20 calls a receiver 20a. A called carrier calls his (or her) own private pocket bell number from an extension telephone set 33 e.g. the number is informed to a line 14 through an extension telephone set interface circuit 17, its corresponding extension number is retrieved from the means 13, its corresponding line wire storing number is retrieved from the means 11, and a command for connecting the telephone set 33 operated by the carrier to the line wire L2 is connected to an exchange circuit 16. Consequently a terminating call can quickly be transferred.
