<p>PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of linearity of a track caused by repeated inserting editions on the same track. CONSTITUTION:Different kinds of signals are recorded in separate regions in each track, sampling pulse generation circuits 48-52 correspond to these signals respectively, sampling pulses are generated every reproducing time of correspondent signals. When inserting edition for a signal is designated by a user, a switch 47 selects sampling pulses for signals other than signals edited by inserting by the selecting circuit 47, and an envelope signal of a reproduced signal of the specified recording head outputted from an envelope detecting circuit 35 is subjected to sample-and-hold. This sample-hold signal is processed and a tracking control signal is outputted from a tracking direction circuit 46. Whereby, the recording head tracks to a recorded section of the signal other than signals of inserting edition in the track.</p> |
