PURPOSE:To quickly and correctly process multiple fingerprint collation by performing the fingerprint collation based on digitalized data instead of a analogic fingerprint pattern. CONSTITUTION:As to the fingerprint pattern as it was taken, the shape of the side cross-sectional drawing is expressed in a form of curve, and the curve is binarized and displayed. Since the specific pattern can be expressed by objective numeric data by digitalizing the fingerprint data, just by comparison and discrimination of the numeric data, collation can be mechanized and quickly and correctly processed by any operator. Various types of devices can be considered as such device as performing conversion and display, and any method binarizing a ruggedness and comparing and discriminating the binarized data with the preliminarily registered data can be used. |
