<p>PURPOSE:To save power in an entire system by turning respective parts in a system equipment to a power saving state in the case of non-operation by providing a power save control part in a printing part. CONSTITUTION:An initialization processing is executed (S51), and when a printer OFF is set from a control panel SW, the processing is turned to END (S56). When the printer OFF is not set, a power save control processing (S52) is started. Similarly in the power save control processing (S52), when the printer OFF is set, the END (S56) is established and when the printer OFF is not set, next three parallel processings are started. Namely, a dot data development processing (S53) to develop character code data in a line buffer to real dot data for one line, a series of printing processings (S54) in the case of successively executing commands, and command fetch and analysis processing (S55) to prepare the line buffer are started. Then, the operation is returned to the power save control processing (S52).</p> |
