PURPOSE:To attain excellent synchronization acquisition by providing a spread noise recovery circuit and a subtractor circuit to an output part of an inverse spread demodulation circuit so as suppress a noise level of an SS signal thereby controlling a transmission level of the signal to a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:An output of an inverse spread demodulation multiplier 5 demodulating an SS signal is divided into demodulation information and spread noise. The spread noise equivalent to the spread noise is reproduced by a spread noise recovery circuit 9. Then the recovered spread noise and the inverted spread noise are subtracted at a subtractor circuit 10 to suppress the spread noise. Thus, only the demodulation information is outputted to a control voltage generating circuit 4, which converts a demodulation information level into a control voltage level and it is outputted to a gain control circuit 3 to control the SS signal level. Thus, the effect of noise and an interference in the SS signal is eliminated and excellent synchronization acquisition is attained. |
