<p>PURPOSE:To charge the battery of the portable device while the device is in use and to extend the battery driving time by providing an energy transducing means and a charging means. CONSTITUTION:The portable device which is supplied with the electric power from the battery 9 incorporated in its device main body to operate is equipped with a power generation part 1 as the energy transducing means which transduces the kinetic energy generated when the device main body is carried into electric power and a charging circuit 4 which supplies the electric power obtained by the power generation part 1 to the battery 9 as charging electric power. Then the kinetic energy of a swing, etc., caused when the device main body is carried is transduced into the electric power by the power generation part 1. This electric power is charged in the incorporated battery 9 by the charging circuit 4. Consequently, while the device is in use, the battery 9 can be charged without being supplied with charging power from a commercial AC power source, etc., and the driving time of the battery can be made long.</p> |
