<p>PURPOSE: To properly position a sub-image with respect to a main image and to properly position a color burst pulse despite of horizontal position control. CONSTITUTION: At a picture-in-picture(PIP) processing circuit 5, the color burst pulse for extracting the color burst of main picture video signal is generated in response to a horizontal synchronizing pulse DH from a deflection part 23. This color burst is used for remodulating the color component of base band corresponding to the sub-image. In response to the relationship between the position of horizontal synchronizing pulse DH from the deflection part 23 and the position of horizontal synchronizing pulse of composite synchronizing signal CS from a synchronizing separator 19 inside a one-chip IC, a control unit 33 generates a color burst pulse delay signal for properly positioning the burst gate pulse.</p> |
