PURPOSE:To check the self operation by a sensor itself when the sensor fails, by compulsorily putting a part of a servocontrol system to an OFF state and applying a special electric signal to a gauge part. CONSTITUTION:A part of a servocontrol system is compulsorily put into an OFF state by turning OFF a switch 20. Accordingly, servocontrol is diabled, and a power source voltage VCC is continuously applied to the voltage V E-VE. In this state, different from the servostate, a fixed dc voltage is applied between a movable electrode 3 and the fixed electrodes 5U and 5L of a gauge part I, and the operation point in the servostate of the output voltage VO is shifted because of the static electricity power. The change of the operation point denotes that the electrode 3 is attracted to the electrode 5U or 5L by the static electricity power, and further means the generated variation of the capacity is detected by a circuit system. Accordingly, the diagnosis for the gauge part, circuit, etc., which constitute the sensor is enabled by changing the operation point. |
