<p>PURPOSE:To precisely detect the position coordinates of a contact point and detect pen pressure by detecting the coordinates consecutively N times and regarding the mean values of the detected coordinates as effective coordinates when the scattering degree of the detected coordinates is less than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:An N-time coordinate detecting means 3 detects the coordinates of the contact point between resistance films 13 successively N times and regards the detected coordinates as the effective coordinates when the scattering degree of the detected coordinates is less than the specific value. A K-time repetitive coordinate determining means 4 repeats the processing by the N-time coordinate detecting means 3 successively K times and outputs effective coordinates which are obtained finally as detected coordinates. The effective coordinates obtained by the N-time detection are reliable and the closest detected coordinates can be outputted at the point of time of coordinate output. Therefore, even when a depression point is moved, the coordinates can precisely be detected. A pen pressure detecting means 5 counts the number of the effective coordinates at the time of the K-time repetition to detect a numeral corresponding to the number as the pen pressure.</p> |
