PURPOSE:To express the division of a scale with integers even if a maximum value and a minimum value in a numerical data group are fractions by calculating an optinum notch width based on the maximum value and the minimum value retrieved from given data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 performs the control of reading the signal of a key input in accordance with the sequence preliminarily written in a ROM 2, transferring the content of a RAM 3 to a buffer for display 7 to display it on a display device 8 and transferring the content of the RAM 3 to a printing control device 5 to print it in a printing device 6, etc. When numerical data inputted from a key input device 4 is successively stored in the RAM 3 and a maximum value and a minimum value are determined from each numerical data group. Further, after a maximum scale value and a minimum scale value, divided value, the number of division are calculated from the common logarithm of the determined maximum value and minimum value, a graph for input data is prepared, is displayed on the display device 8 or is printed by a printing device 6. |
