PURPOSE:To increase the arrival range of a remote control signal in a wireless remote controller employing infrared rays for a signal light and using an omnidirectional light receiving device. CONSTITUTION:In the omnidirectional light receiving device having an omnidirectional prism 20 in which an inverse cone shaped recessed part is provided on the upper face of a pillar and the conical face of a cone acts like a reflecting face to a light made incident from the flank of the pillar and a light receiving element mounted to the lower end of the ominidirectional prism 20, a condenser lens 50 is mounted to the bottom face of the omnidirectional prism 20. Then the signal rays collected by the lens 50 are received efficiently by a light receiving face 12.
