PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device by which an image is formed just by waiting in a short time after applying a power source. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device 1 is provided with an image read processing means 2 which generates an image signal based on scanning to an original, an image forming means 3 which forms the image on an image forming medium based on the image signal, and a fixing means 4 including a heat roller 5, which fixes the formed image on the image forming medium; and a temperature detecting element 7 which detects the temperature of the roller 5 after applying the power source, an operating means having a display part 18 for showing a start stage, a standby stage and an image forming feasible stage according to the detected result by the element 7, and a control means 10 which makes the actions of the means 2, 3 and 4 at the standby stage slower than those of the ordinary image forming feasible stage according to the detected result by the element 7 are provided in the device 1. By such constitution, the image is formed just by waiting in a short time after applying the power source. |
