PURPOSE:To provide excellent dielectrric characteristics even when fired in a non-oxidizing atmosphere and also reduce an electrostatic capacity rate-of- change by adding predetermined quantities of MnO, Cr2O3, and Y2O3 to BaTiO3. CONSTITUTION:MnO of 0.01-1.0mol%, Cr2O3 of 0.01-1.0mol%, and Y2O3 of 0.01 to 10.0mol% are added to BaTiO2 of 100mol%. At least one kind selected from the group consisting of BaSiO2, [Baalpha, Ca(1-alpha)]SiO3 (where 0.43<=alpha<=0.62) may be added by 0.5 to 10.0mol% to the composition. The composition is fired at 900-1200 deg.C. |
