PURPOSE:To provide high ant-proof performance without adding any ant-proof agent by providing an ant-proof layer of a predetermined thickness made of a specified resin. CONSTITUTION:An ant-proof wire 1 comprises a conductor 2 made of copper, aluminum, etc., and an insulating layer 3 made of polyethylene resin, crosslinked polyethylene resin, polyvinyl chrolide resin, and the like laid thereon. An ant- proof layer 4 made of such a resin (Si-PP resin) as being formed by dispersing a super-high-molecular-weight silicone polymer into a polypropylene resin in high concentration of 20weight% or more is laid on the layer 3. The thickness of the layer 4 ranges from 0.5 to 0.8mm. |
