PURPOSE:To provide an optical head small sized and light weighted and having high speed access, low cost, improved assembling workability, little optical loss and high stability. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution of the optical head which records or reproduces a signal information with a light beam, at least one of a semiconductor laser 51 which works is a light source and a photodetector 56 is provided at the peripheral part of an objective lens 54 which condenses a luminous flux onto a recording face 55 and a reflected light is treated by a reflecting face 53 which utilizes a hologram element. Thus the entire optical head is miniaturized and is made light in weight. |
