<p>PURPOSE:To improve the fixability of a toner at low temp. and the fixing strength without deteriorating the anti-offsetting property and blocking resistance by using ketone resin having a specified structure as a resin binder. CONSTITUTION:This toner for developing an electrostatic charge image contains a resin binder and a colorant, and cyclohexanone type ketone resin represented by the formula is used as the binder. The polymn. degree (n) in this resin is about 1-10 but cyclohexanone type ketone resin having 70-150 deg.C softening point is especially suitable. This resin is generally used in combination with other resin binder such as styrene resin or polyester resin and the pref. amt. of the cyclohexanone type ketone resin in all the binders is 10-80wt.%.</p> |
