PURPOSE:To provide the contour data processor which varies a character in line width while holding the balance of the whole character without varying the width nor height of the character. CONSTITUTION:When weight data are present in a text memory and at the time of boldface data WB (S31, S32: Yes), a line width variation quantity Z is read out (S33) and all contour segments are moved by the line width variation quantity Z in a right normal direction (S37). The intersections of adjacent segments to the moved segment are newly found and corrected contour line data prescribing a contour with the intersections are found (S38). For the corrected contour line data, recorrected contour line data after reduction processing are found (S39) so that the width and height of the character become equal to the width and height of the character before the correction. |
