PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tremolo unit mechanism for an electric guitar short in back length and requiring only little machining of a body. SOLUTION: Tremolo unit mechanism fitted to the upper face of a body 2 of an electric guitar has a rotating part A8a fastend to the body 2 so as to be rotatable; a push plate 11 fastened to the rotating part A8a and provided with a tremolo arm 7 fastened to the tip part upper face, and a balance spring 4 fitted between the tip part lower face and the body 2; a joint 9 with its end part fastened to the rotating part A8a and with the other end part having a rotating part B8b; and an arm 10 with one end part rotatably fitted top the rotating part B8b and with the other end part provided with a string fitting part.
