PURPOSE:To transfer the terminal-side program of the same generation as a host-side program to a necessary terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The terminal-side program of the same generation as the host- side program out of various distributed programs for which a host computer 1 and terminal equipments 3 perform the processing in liaison with each other is transferred to various terminal equipments 3 which can be connected by a communication line 2. The host computer 1 is provided with a transfer history table 11, a generation management means 12 deciding whether transfer is necessary or not, a distributed program file 13 including terminal-side program of the same generation as the host-side program to be transferred, a program transfer means 14 transferring the terminal-side program whose transfer is necessary, and a communication control means 15 communicating with terminals 3.
