摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the circuit scale without changing a frame phase of a signal by implementing transfer of an in-equipment clock and replacing a pointer at the output of a low-order group signal of an active reception unit. CONSTITUTION:A selection section 103 of an active system 106 selects an output of a reception section 101 or an output from a standby system 108 via a branch circuit 102 and sends the selected output to a pointer replacement section 105. The replacement section 105 transfers the clock into a clock generated by an in-equipment clock source 104 in frequency-synchronization with a synchronization system reference clock and replaces a pointer and sends the resulting signal to a subordinate equipment. An output of the active system reception section 101 is selected in the normal state and an output of the circuit 102 is selected on the occurrence of a fault. Then the replacement section 105 transfers the clock to the clock from the clock source 104 and changes the pointer of the signal to be sent based on the frame phase generated by the clock source 104. Thus, the circuit scale of the memory is reduced without changing the phase of the frame to be sent.
