<p>PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic disk power source control system which is controlled by a small power unit and superior in economy by performing power source control over disk devices individually and suppressing fed current values small. CONSTITUTION:This disk power source control system is equipped with magnetic disk power sources 10a, 10b, 10c, and 10d which individually control the power ON/OFF states of plural magnetic disk devices 13a, 13b, 13c, and 13d and a magnetic disk power unit control circuit part 8 which controls the power-ON /OFF states of the magnetic disk power sources with stoggering the time. Further, this system has an initial program storage disk number specification switch (IPL disk specification switch) 3 which controls the magnetic disk power unit control circuit part 8 to specify and power ON the disk device where an initial program is stored simultaneously with the power-ON operation of a main body power source, and also power ON other disk devices in order with stoggering the time through the magnetic disk power unit control circuit 8.</p> |
