PURPOSE:To enhance the rim setting accuracy of a completed tire, to prevent rim shift, to enhance uniformity, to prevent the generation of vibration and to enhance durability by accurately retaining the shape of a bead part at the time of the cooling of the tire subjected to vulcanization molding. CONSTITUTION:In a tire manufacturing method containing a process fitting a tire TO subjected to vulacnization molding to a shape retaining rim and applying internal pressure to the tire TO to cool the same, at least four air vent holes 7... piercing a rim flange 6B and having a diameter of 0.5-6mm are arranged to the rim flange 6 of the shape retaining rim JO to which the bead part 2 of the tire TO is fitted in the peripheral direction of the flange within the height region 0.5 times the height H1 of the rim flange 6B or less from a rim base 5B. |
