PURPOSE:To easily manipulate a fixing device which can freely slide an outer cylinder fitted on a shaft and inhibit the slide of the cylinder, with the shaft and the cylinder being gripped by two hands, and which can be locked even though it is rotated in either of clockwise or counterclockwise direction while having no risk of disassembly due to excessive loosing, by improving the fixing device. CONSTITUTION:An enlarging cylinder 6 is inserted unrotatably but slidably in an outer cylinder 5. Tapered hole 6a, 6c, and screw hole 6b are concentrically formed in the cylinder 6. Meanwhile, tapered shafts 9 and a screw rod 8 are concentrically fixed to a shaft 4. Even though the shaft 4 is rotated in either direction, the tapered shaft (7 or 9) make close contact with the tapered hole so that the latter is enlarged so as to inhibit the slide thereof in order to establish a lock condition. |
