PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image by eliminating the running obstruction due to the adhesion of refuse to a head by adding particles having gaps adjusted by polymerizing the O/W emulsion obtained through a porous glass film to the intermediate layer between a base material and a thermal color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material, particles having gaps adjusted by polymerizing the O/W emulsion obtained through a porous glass film are added to the intermediate layer between a base material and a thermal color forming layer. That is, in a film emulsifying method wherein the porous glass film is interposed between an aqueous solution of a surfactant and an org. solution of a vinyl monomer, pressure is applied to an org. solvent layer to introduce the org. solution into the layer of the aqueous solution through the porous glass film to prepare the O/W emulsion and the vinyl monomer present in the org. solution is polymerized to obtain particles having gaps. By this constitution, a hot melt is absorbed in the gaps between particles and/or in particles to prevent the adhesion of refuse to a thermal head. |
