PURPOSE:To provide a two-color thermal recording material of a black.green color developing system forming a sharp black color image at low temp. and a sharp green color image at high temp. and extremely excellent in the contrast between both hues. CONSTITUTION:In a two-color thermal recording material wherein at least a high temp. color forming layer, an intermediate layer containing a color erasing agent and a low temp. color forming layer are successively laminated to a support and both color forming layers contain leuco dyes and developers and the low temp. color forming layer is a black color forming system, a leuco dye of a green color developing system whose reflectivity after the development of a color is 35% or more at 460-480nm and 20% or less at 600nm is used in the high temp. color forming layer.
