PURPOSE:To obtain a leucocyte-removing filter capable of removing also platelet in high efficiency and a short time in addition to removal of leucocyte by using a porous filter material whose surface zeta potential is positive as a main part. CONSTITUTION:The objective filter contains a porous filter material, bringing into contact with a liquid to be treated of leucocyte removing filter, whose surface zeta potential is >=0mV, preferably >=3mV positive potential as a main part. The porous filter material is a liquid permeable filter material having a number of fine pores communicating from either one surface to the other surface and capable of selectively separating and removing the leucocyte and a filter material consisting of cellulose fiber and regenerated cellulose fiber is suitable as the filter material. Since >=0m... surface zeta potential of the porous filter material can be simply changed by changing kinds of filter materials, kinds of treating agents, concentration thereof, etc., removing ratio of the platelet can properly be controlled according to purposes and conditions. |
