A cosmetic container informing a strength of an ultraviolet ray is provided that informs users of a strength of an ultraviolet ray detected at an indoor or outdoor position by adhering an ultraviolet sensor to a surface and inside of a cosmetic container. The cosmetic container has an ultraviolet ray sensor made of titan dioxide to which a transient metallic oxide is added, on which a metallic oxide compound stratum tectorium is coated, so that its color is reversively strengthened according to the intensity in light exposure and returns to an original color when the ultraviolet ray is blocked.
