PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet having excellent smoothness, strength, cushioning properties and writing properties while being able to form an image having high density and high resolution by successively laminating a bubble containing layer, an intermediate layer and a dye accepting layer onto a base material sheet. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet, in which sublimating dyes are used as a recording material and a base material sheet is carried to the recording material and a thermal transfer sheet is manufactured, and various full-color images are formed onto a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet with a dye accepting layer capable of being dyed by sublimating dyes, the thermal transfer image-receiving sheet is formed by successively laminating a bubble containing layer, an intermediate layer and the dye accepting layer onto the base material sheet consisting of pulp paper. The intermediate layer is composed of an acrylic resin, a cellulose resin, etc., and the bubble containing layer is made up of adhesives. The intermediate layer and/or the intermediate layer comprises at least one kind of an additive selected from a white pigment, a fluorescent brightener, an antistatic agent, an extender pigment and fillers, and the fillers are employed only by 10-100wt.% of the weight of the intermediate layer. |
