PURPOSE:To provide technology of a method for inexpensive anti-oxidizing coating of C/C, not causing defects such as crack and release of anti-oxidizing coating film, having excellent productivity. CONSTITUTION:Si powder and oxide powder are mixed with a binder to give a kneaded material, which is applied to the surface of carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material and the coated composite material is heat-treated in an inert gas atmosphere at >= melting point of Si in an inert gas atmosphere to make the surface layer of the carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material into silicon carbide.
