PURPOSE:To provide a variable displacement swash plate type compressor which can readily support large moment generated during its compression stroke and which is so excellent in control performance that it is capable of highly reliable stroke adjustment. CONSTITUTION:Support ears 27c, 27d each of which extends in the direction of the axis of a swash plate 24 are provided protrusively from both sides of the swash plate 24 and a first connector 29 which can be freely slid in its axial direction by an actuator 31 and which has a first pin guide groove 29b for making stroke variable is installed on a rotary main spindle 24 located on the side of the support ear 27c. A second connector 30 having a second pin guide groove 30b for making stroke variable is fixed to a rotary main spindle 24 located on the side of the support ear 27d and the support ear 27c and the first connector 29 are rotatably connected to each other by a first connecting pin 37a passing through the first pin gudie groove 29b and the support ear 27d and the second connector 30 are rotatably connected to each other by a second connecting pin 37b passing through the second pin guide groove 30b. |
