Composition for combatting desquamation and dandruff, which comprises the following physiologically acceptable components: - at least one 1-hydroxy-2-pyridone, in pure or salt form, possessing an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 C or phenyl radical at position 4, and an alkyl radical having 1 to 17 C, alkenyl radical having 2 to 17 C or cycloalkyl radical having 5 to 10 C at position 6, - at least one undecylenic acid derivative, - at least one possible preservative.
