PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material generating no feed trouble and excellent in dynamic sensitivity, in a thermal recording material wherein an undercoat layer and a thermal color forming layer are laminated to a support, by adding non-foamable plastic hollow fine particles and a conductive agent to the undercoat layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material is produced by successively laminating an undercoat layer and a thermal color forming layer forming a color image by the thermal reaction of a colorless or light-colored color forming leuco dye and a developer such as an org. acidic substance in a molten state. In this case, non-foamable plastic hollow fine particles and a conductive agent are added to the undercoat layer. The non-foamable plastic hollow fine particles have an average particle size of 2-10mum and percentage of hollowness of 90% or more and are pref. produced from a vinylidene chloride/acrylonitrile copolymer resin. By this constitution, dynamic color forming sensitivity is enhanced and the charge of static electricity is prevented and feed trouble at the time of use is reduced. |
