PURPOSE:To provide simple use of a belt pulley and chain pulley, and fix the shaft rigidly. CONSTITUTION:Threads are cut on the outside of a cylindrical key 9 for fixing the shaft of a tapered pulley. An adjusting groove on the normal is cut from the center to outside of the pulley at a corner of this shaft fixing key. In case no outside pulley is mounted, the key 9 and shaft 2 are fitted together loosely. The key 9 is furnished at the end with parallel surface for fixation of itself. Also threads are cut on the inside of an outside pulley. It is also acceptable that the outside pulley works also as a nut and the pulley is interposed between two sets of such members and secured. The threads are so arranged as to advance toward the side with greater taper dia. as proceeding in the shaft rotating direction. It is preferable that the mentioned parallel surface of the key 9 is prepared on the side with greater shaft dia. |
