<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the gnashing sound when rotation transfer gears from an electric motor to a steering shaft are engaged and the hammering sound between the gears and shafts supporting them, CONSTITUTION:A large gear 11 on the driven side having a gear section 11a on one face side is provided on a pinion shaft 3. A small gear 12a engaged with the gear section 11a of the large gear 11 from the side and transferring the rotation driving force from an electric motor is provided, and a rotation transfer gear system 13 constituted of displaced-shaft gears is formed. An exciting means 20 invariably exciting the large gear 11 and the small gear 12a in the engaging direction is provided. Nearly V-shaped groove sections 33, 34 are formed at positions with the preset interval in the peripheral direction on the inner periphery section of a shaft hole supported on the pinion shaft of the large gear 11 and the outer periphery section of the shaft corresponding to it. Balls 35 are provided astride the V-shaped groove sections 33, 34 of both members.</p> |
