<p>PURPOSE: To prevent hydraulic fluid to operate a spool valve to control water flow to a turbine engine from reaching water and water from reaching hydraulic fluid to prevent mixing of water and hydraulic fluid. CONSTITUTION: Hydraulic fluid which leaks after passing over a seal assembly 92 from a chamber 94 is discharged out through a drain groove 90, channels 89, 88, 86, ring orifice 84, drain passage 82, and drain outlet 80. Hydraulic fluid leaks after passing over a seal assembly 98 from the chamber 99 is discharged out through a drain groove 84, a drain passage 82, and a drain outlet 80. When water in a valve acting groove 68 leaks out after passing over the seal assembly 91 or the seal assembly 98, water comes into the drain groove 90 or the drain groove 84 and discharged out through the drain outlet 80.</p> |
