Devices presently in use have either a single link between vehicles or a rigid triangle with spread legs attached to the towed vehicle. The new design has a centre sandwich plate assembly (4) with adjustable arms (3) attached to it by hinges (5) and to the towed vehicle by clamps (6). The single towing shaft is rigidly attached to the plate assembly and to the ball=hitch (9) which fits on the ball hitch (1) of the towing vehicle The tow=bar is adjustable to allow for the difference in height of the attachment points (6) and (9), by a screw mechanism (8,11).
