PURPOSE:To restrict heating in a recording head under the state of its thermal insulation with an ink after the start of film boiling of the ink, and to restrain as much as possible heat accumulation in the recording head, burning of the ink by peak temperature of a heater and the like by minimizing the length of a main pulse. CONSTITUTION:Wasteful consumption of energy made so far because of employing the values enabling bubbling-up and ejection of ink to be executed under the worst condition even though there is a change in the point of starting for film boiling can be reduced greatly by applying PWM control to a main pulse TM in accordance with the change in a prepulse T1. In other words, problems arising from heat accumulation in a recording head by heating of a heater under the state of thermal insulation that is made for ink after its starting film boiling, excess rise of the temperature, burning of the ink because of the rise in the peak temperature of the heater, breaking of cavitation and the like can be solved. |
