PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound useful as an antifungal agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound of the formula and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The compound of the formula is obtained by inoculating Fusarium Sp. F29,602 strain (FERM P-12,503) and its variant in a nutrient source-containing medium, cultured at 20-37 deg.C at pH 4-8 for 48-240 hours preferably by shaking culture or submerged spinner culture to collect cells. The objective compound is separated from the cells and purified. Molecular formula: C45H62O16. |
