PURPOSE:To obtain a boiling heat transfer accelerator for accelerating heat transfer of a flooded heat exchanger and reducing the cost. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical heat insulator 10 is coaxially mounted on an outer periphery of a heat transfer tube 1 of a flooded heat exchanger through a gap 11. The material 10 is axially divided into two parts 10a, 10b, and the ends of the parts are rotatably supported via pins 13 to a tube plate. Accordingly, boiling of refrigerant liquid is accelerated in the gap between the insulator and the tube. |
