PURPOSE: To obtain a small allowance at low cost by integrally constituting a right-left symmetrical or rotation symmetrical core extended in the axis direction onto the inner center of the printing press cylinder and partially surrounding the core and/or core journal by an oscillation damping material. CONSTITUTION: The printing press cylinder 1 comprises a rotation symmetrical cast equipped a cylinder wall 2 and two end faces 3, 4. An almost pot-like core 7 belonging to the cylinder 1 is extended in the direction of the cylinder axis line 6 and the core 7 is tightly joined to the inside cylinder wall 2 via a ring web 8 at the center in the radial direction. The core 7 has core journals 9, 10 on both sides in the direction of the cylinder axis line 6 and the end face sides 3, 4 of the printing press cylinder 1 have axis journals 12, 13 extended outside. The axis journals 12, 13 are supported by roller bearings 14, 16 on the wall part of machine frames 17, 18 and an oscillation wheel 22 is connected to the axis journal 13 by a screw 24 putting a spacer ring 24 in between. |
