<p>An apparatus and process for sterile disposal of hazardous medical waste is provided. The apparatus includes a heat conductive container (12) for maintaining hazardous medical waste (14) and a means for applying heat to the heat conductive container (12) in an amount sufficient to deform the waste (14) into an unrecognizable state and render the waste sterile. The process for sterile disposal of harzardous medical waste in this manner is also provided.</p> |
