Corner elements for protecting stacks of panels during transport - have ribs which fit between adjacent panels and held in place by straps

Flat rectangular panels (2) are formed into a stack which is secured by straps (3) which pass completely around the stack. The stack can then be conveniently transported and the corners of the stack are protected from damage by corner elements. Each corner element (4) has three mutually perpendicular surfaces forming three sides of a cube. A rib (7) parallel to one of the sides (12) projects at right angles from the other two sides and fits between two adjacent panels. The element is thus held in place when the panels are pressed together by the strap. USE/ADVANTAGE - The panel corners are protected by elements which require no special fixings.
